Community Outreach & Events

Free Smoke Detectors & Installation

Free smoke detectors are available to resident property owners and may be picked up at Borough Hall (400 Fayette Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA 19428). Supplies are limited to three (3) smoke detectors per household. Residents requiring special accommodations may arrange to have their smoke detectors delivered and/or installed at no charge. Please contact the Fire Chief directly to make arrangements.

Fire Prevention Education & Events

Fire Services offers a variety of educational opportunities and events in an effort to spread awareness about fire safety and help decrease casualties caused by fires. Conshohocken's Fire Services Team provides on-site fire safety education year-round to the community at no cost. We encourage schools and businesses within the Borough of Conshohocken to contact the Fire Chief to learn more, or to schedule an on-site visit today!

Colonial Fire Prevention Expo

Conshohocken partners with Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships to host the annual Colonial Fire Prevention Expo. The event is held in October during Fire Prevention Week (observed the week of October 9th) and rotates each year among the Borough of Conshohocken, Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships. The night is full of fun, interactive and educational displays, including vehicle, water, and high angle rescue demonstrations.

Conshohocken Fire Prevention Demo

Fire Services coordinates and hosts its own Fire Prevention Demo in Conshohocken when the Colonial Fire Prevention Expo takes place in Plymouth or Whitemarsh. Live fire safety demos, free giveaway bags and more!

Sprinkler Nights

Fire Services hosts 2-3 Sprinkler Nights during the summer season at one of the Borough parks. Sprinkler Nights give our community a chance to meet their local firefighters, tour the fire trucks, shoot the fire hose, and most importantly, beat the summer heat. Don't forget to wear your bathing suit! Sprinkler Night dates, times and park locations vary, and are announced 1-2 weeks prior.

Event information is announced on the Borough's website under News, and posted to the Borough's social media pages. Want updates about events when they get posted? Sign up to receive email news alerts
