Conshohocken Police Department Resources

  • Conshohocken Police Association 

    The Conshohocken Police Association (CPA) is a non-profit organization, which was formed in 2010 by the sworn officers of the Borough of Conshohocken Police Department. The CPA assists with fundraising activities, community events, outreach initiatives, and more. 

County & State Resources

  • Montgomery County Courts

    Montgomery County is the 38th Judicial District of the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania. The Court of Common Pleas has a complement of 24 full time Judges. There are 30 Magisterial District Judge courts within the district.
  • Montgomery County Sheriff's Office

    The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is one of the largest and most highly trained law enforcement agencies in the County and includes several divisions and specialty units. We serve more than 816,000 residents with a staff of approximately 115 law enforcement officers and 20 administrative staff. The Sheriff of Montgomery County is the chief law enforcement officer of the County under the Pennsylvania Constitution. While most police work is done by local and state police, the Sheriff’s broad powers authorize he and his deputies to enforce the law.
  • Pennsylvania Commission of Crime and Delinquency

    The Commission provides leadership in system-wide coordination and in building collaboration among public servants and private citizens representing all aspects of the criminal and juvenile justice systems and victim services.
  • Pennsylvania Department of Corrections

    The mission of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) is to reduce criminal behavior by providing individualized treatment and education to inmates, resulting in successful community reintegration through accountability and positive change. The DOC is responsible for overseeing the operation of 24 state correctional institutions and one motivational boot camp, 14 community corrections centers and oversees contracts with nearly 50 contract facilities, and a training academy. 
  • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services 

    The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services has seven program offices that administer services in order to provide care and support to Pennsylvania's most vulnerable individuals and families. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for Pennsylvania's individuals and families, and to promote opportunities for independence through services and supports while demonstrating accountability for taxpayer resources.
  • Pennsylvania State Police 

    The Pennsylvania State Police has jurisdiction in all political subdivisions in the Commonwealth. Criminal Investigation and support services occupy approximately one-third of the total on-duty time of the State Police while the remaining time is devoted to traffic enforcement and other public safety services.

  • National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

    The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) spearheads national efforts to locate and recover missing children and raises public awareness about ways to prevent child abduction, molestation, and sexual exploitation.
  • National Child Abuse Hotline

    Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. It focuses efforts on advocacy, intervention, treatment, prevention, family resilience and community outreach.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Resources 

  • Laurel House

    Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It advocates for, and empowers those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, a safe haven, supportive programs, and resources. It also works to advance social change through preventative education, community training, and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
  • Montgomery County Protection From Abuse (PFA)

    Montgomery County's Protection from Abuse Department is located on the first floor of the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown. A Protection from Abuse (PFA) Order is a Pennsylvania court order that allows for you to seek temporary relief from someone who is causing you abuse.  If you have been abused in a domestic setting, or if you are in serious danger of abuse, you can seek a court-ordered PFA. PFAs act as temporary or permanent long-term restraining orders. To qualify for a Protection from Abuse order, there must be either a family relationship or an intimate relationship with the person from whom you want to file for protection. 
  • National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs

    NCAVP is a national advocacy for local LGBTQ and HIV-affected communities. It works to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and supports survivors through counseling and advocacy.

    RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

    The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) is a statewide collaborative membership organization committed to ending intimate partner violence and all forms of violence against women.

    PCAR works to end sexual violence and advocates for the rights and needs of sexual assault victims.

  • The Commonwealth Prevention Alliance Campaign to Stop Opiate Abuse

    PA Stop is designed to educate Pennsylvanians about the risks of prescription painkiller and heroin use, the relationship between painkiller and heroin use, and what to do when you need help. We are working to prevent non-medical use of prescription painkillers and, in so doing, to break the connection between heroin and prescription painkillers. Together, we can stop opiate addiction before it starts.

    The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) serves as a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment. 

Mental Crisis & Suicide Prevention Resources

  • Montgomery County Emergency Service (MCES) Crisis Services

    MCES is a nonprofit behavioral health emergency service that meets the needs of persons experiencing a psychiatric emergency or serious mental health crisis in Montgomery County and adjacent communities on a 24/7 basis. MCES offers a crisis hot line, walk-in crisis center, acute inpatient psychiatric care, crisis residential program, and psychiatric emergency medical service (EMS). MCES also provides mental health crisis intervention education and suicide prevention programming.
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness

    The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.
  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

    The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress. It also provides prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

  • National Center for Victims of Crime

    The National Center for Victims of Crime is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with local, state, and federal partners and advocates for victims' rights, protections and services for crime victims; trains professionals who work with victims, and serves as a resource of information on victims' issues.

  • Pennsylvania Office Of Victim Advocate

    Provides victims of crime with notifications, support, and advocacy services. Collaborates closely with the Department of Corrections, the Board of Pardons, and the Board of Parole to develop and maintain a variety of restorative justice and trauma informed services.
