Public Information & Special Events
Public information and borough special events fall under the Office of the Borough Manager. The Communications Manager provides information through various channels described below.
Public Information
Website Email Alerts
The website is the Borough’s source for official information and news. It contains full details of all government meeting schedules, minutes, agendas, and budgets, as well as all department functions, municipal services, recreational activities, and events. Individuals can sign up to receive email news alerts to stay up to date on the latest information posted to the website.
Emergency Alerts
The Borough of Conshohocken uses CodeRED, a web-based communication tool, which can disseminate important information related to emergency and non-emergency incidents, such as evacuation notices, missing persons, inclement weather advisories, and more. The system is capable of reaching hundreds of thousands of users within minutes through phone, text, or email. Users must register online and create an account to receive alerts. Upon registering, users can designate how they wish to receive alerts. We highly encourage all residents, businesses, and anyone working within the borough to register for CodeRED. In addition to CodeRED, individuals can sign up for a variety of emergency alert tools provided through Montgomery County.
Conshohocken Borough Government Access TV Channel (CBGA-TV)
CBGA-TV can be found on Comcast channel 965 and Verizon channel 20.
CBGA-TV broadcasts all Borough Council meetings live on meeting nights. Borough Council meeting replays air nightly at 7 p.m.
TV programming is also supplemented by scrolling slides that provide municipal information, holiday closures, news, and seasonal content.
