Mission Statement

Enhance the quality of life for all residents through physical, mental, cultural, social, and environmental development. We believe a vibrant borough is possible through people, parks, and programming.

The Recreation Services Department maintains the daily operations and activities that take place at the Borough’s various recreational facilities and parks. This includes the Community Center, Park House, a regulation sized competitive game field and stadium, as well as seven (7) other public parks. It offers a wide range of recreational activities, summer camps, programs, and fitness and wellness opportunities for all ages. It also plans and oversees a variety of community events, including the annual Donofrio Tournament, Halloween Pumpkin Painting, Winter Wonderland, Senior Luncheons, Easter Egg Hunt, and Summer Carnival events.

The Recreation Services Department staff and office is located at the Community Center at the Fellowship House.

Park Hours

Parks hours are from sunrise to sunset. Certain parks may have varied hours depending on the season and rentals.

Inclement Weather Policy

If the Borough Administrative Office and Colonial School District are closed, the Community Center will also be closed. If the Colonial School District is closed and the Borough Administrative Office has a delayed opening, the Community Center will have a delayed opening in conjunction with Borough Offices. If there is inclement weather on the weekend, the Community Center will make an effort to open with limited hours from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy

Conshohocken Borough reserves the right to cancel any program. Programs are subject to cancellations if they do not meet minimum enrollment. Inclement weather may also be a reasonable cause.

Photo Policy

The Recreation Services Department may take photos of program participants, community center members and/or visitors and park visitors. These photos are for Borough use only and may appear on flyers, publications and social media outlets.
