Notice is hereby given that the Borough of Conshohocken will hold a public hearing for the 2023 CDBG application on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Conshohocken Borough Hall, 400 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
In order to provide ample opportunity for community input into Conshohocken’s 2023 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application, two public hearings are required. The first hearing was held in August.
The application will request $133,141.00 for the installation of curb ramps at:
- East Hector and Jones Streets
- Hallowell Street between East 9th and East 10th Avenue
- Jones Street between East 10th and East 11th Avenue
- Jones Street between East 11th and East 12th Avenue
- Wells Street between East 11th and East 12th Avenue
Completion of all locations will be dependent upon construction costs received. The Borough will also propose the use of $20,000.00 for the administration of the project. Residents may comment on this proposed project or on the past uses of CDBG funds at this hearing.

Conshohocken takes seriously its responsibility to provide the opportunity for the public to participate in public hearings and to comment on its use of public funds. The proposed 2023 CDBG application is available for inspection Monday through Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Conshohocken Borough Hall. Written comments regarding the proposed uses of 2023 CDBG funds will be accepted for 10 days following the public hearing.
