The ZONING HEARING BOARD OF THE BOROUGH OF CONSHOHOCKEN conducts public hearings at the request of property owners seeking zoning relief from a provision of the zoning ordinance via variance or special exception. The Board meets when an application and/or zoning petition has been submitted. Meetings are advertised in advance in the local newspaper and are posted on the Borough’s website. The Borough also mails notices to property owners within 250 feet of the subject property.
The Zoning Hearing Board interprets the Borough’s zoning ordinance and makes decisions on whether applications should be approved or denied. Records of the proceedings are maintained. An appeal of their findings may be taken to the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.
The Zoning Hearing Boards on the third Monday of each month or on an as-needed based on submitted applications at Borough Hall at 6:30 p.m.
