Notice is given that the Borough of Conshohocken will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Conshohocken Borough Hall, 400 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. The public will be invited to comment on the Borough’s proposed application to the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for federal HOME funds. $250,000.00 will be requested to continue the Borough’s Housing Rehabilitation Program. Funds requested will enable rehabilitation of up to 5 properties.
The Housing Rehabilitation Program makes repairs to the homes of low-moderate income households to bring the houses up to code and DCED identified housing quality standards. There will be no demolition or conversion of properties, which would result in displacement of low-moderate income residents, and require the replacement of affordable units.
The application will be available for inspection at Conshohocken Borough Hall, 400 Fayette Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday beginning June 13, 2023. Written comments will be accepted through June 18, 2024, and should be addressed to Christine Stetler, Borough of Conshohocken, 400 Fayette Street, Conshohocken PA 19428 or to cstetler@conshohockenpa.gov.
Conshohocken Borough Council will consider a resolution authorizing the submission of the application at its meeting on June 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted to DCED no later than June 28, 2024.
