Heat Wave

With an upcoming stretch of 90+ degree temperatures expected over the next week, the Borough of Conshohocken Department of Emergency Management reminds residents to proceed with caution to remain safe in the heat. Such conditions can be deadly, and residents should take precautions to prevent heat-related stress and illness.

Those especially at risk are very young children, elderly adults, and people with chronic medical conditions who take certain medications. Friends, relatives, or neighbors should check on people who may be at risk. Seek medical attention if you are experiencing symptoms of heat-related illness - including muscle cramps, headache, nausea, or vomiting.

Anyone experiencing heat-related issues should contact the Conshohocken Emergency Management Department at 610-828-1092.
