The Borough of Conshohocken, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Consortium of Communities, will be hosting a written examination and physical fitness assessment for police officer candidates on Saturday, September 7, at 8:30 a.m. at Springfield Township High School, 1801 Paper Mill Road, Erdenheim, PA 19038.
On Saturday, July 27, at noon, a single unified application for all participating municipalities will be made live at www.montcopolicetest.com. The website lists the minimum consideration and test score requirements.
To apply to the Borough of Conshohocken, on step 5 of the application, check the box next to “I meet the requirements and wish to apply to Borough of Conshohocken.”
The minimum requirements to be considered for a police officer position with the Borough of Conshohocken include:
- Must be 21 years of age at the time of application
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- Must have completed a police academy certified by the PA Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) and be able to meet the certification standards of the MPOETC as required by PA Act 120
- Must live within 25 miles of the Borough at the time of appointment
The online application process, which includes a $40 administrative fee, closes on Wednesday, August 28, at 4 p.m.
