
The Borough of Conshohocken is hosting the second annual Simon's Heart Conshy Classic Bike Race on Saturday, May 10, starting at 1 p.m. Event setup, which includes road closures, begins at 8 a.m.
Fayette Street will be closed from 3rd Avenue to Elm Street starting at 8 a.m. Residents who have parked their cars on these roads must move their vehicles by 8 a.m.
In addition to the roads used for the race course, the following roads will be closed starting at 10 a.m.:
- West 1st Avenue from Fayette Street to Forrest Street
- East 3rd Avenue at the intersection of Hallowell Street and Spring Mill Avenue
- East 4th Avenue at Spring Mill Avenue
- East 5th Avenue from Wells Street to Spring Mill Avenue
- East 6th Avenue at Spring Mill Avenue
- East 7th Avenue from Jones Street to Spring Mill Avenue
- Spring Mill Avenue at Walnut Street
- Wells Street from East 5th Avenue to Spring Mill Avenue
- Harry Street from East 3rd Avenue to East 1st Avenue
Residents who have their cars parked on the following roads must move their vehicles by 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 10:
- Both sides of East Elm Street from Fayette Street to Apple Street
- Both sides of Apple Street from East Elm Street to East Hector Street
- Both sides of East Hector Street from Apple Street to Walnut Street
- Both sides of Walnut Street from East Hector Street to Spring Mill Avenue
- Both sides of Spring Mill Avenue from Walnut Street to Harry Street
- Both sides of East 1st Avenue from Harry Street to Fayette Street
All vehicles located in these "No Parking" areas will be removed by the Conshohocken Police Department.
Affected residents can move their vehicles to any available on-street parking not on the race course or the following:
- Sora West Parking Garage (100 West Elm Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428)
- Washington Street – Parking on both sides of the street will be permitted on the day of the event
Residents living inside the race course, as shown on the map in orange, do not need to move their vehicles. Residents will be able to exit the area via vehicle in between race events, but may experience delays of up to 30 minutes. Vehicles will not be allowed to reenter the area until the event is complete.
Residents may exit via:
- Ash Street to Washington Street
- Poplar Street to Washington Street
- Cherry Street to Washington Street
- Jones Street to Elm Street
The start/finish line will be located on Spring Mill Avenue between Ash Street and Poplar Street. A stage, announcer, and DJ will be placed in this area. Please expect amplified sound and music during the event.
Security for the event will be handled by our Police Department. Traffic control will be handled by the Borough Fire Police.
Our Public Services Department will utilize the street sweeper before and after the event to ensure the streets are clean. The Department will place extra trash and recycling bins throughout the race course. The Borough will ensure the site is cleaned up following the event.

CONSHOHOCKEN CAB
The Conshohocken Cab will be free all day to celebrate the Borough’s 175th Anniversary.
It will run on a modified route from 2 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The Cab will not be stopping at the following stops:
Stop 6: Pepperoncini
Stop 7: Bar Sera
Stop 8: Bar Lucca
Stop 9: The Courts at Spring Mill
Stop 17: Nudy's Cafe
Stop 18: Sora West Plaza
From 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., the Conshohocken Cab will serve as a shuttle to take residents from a pick-up spot on West 1st Avenue to the Borough's 175th Anniversary Celebration on Washington Street.
Starting at 8 p.m., the Conshohocken Cab will return to run its full night schedule beginning at the SEPTA Train Station.
