Conshohocken Mayor Yaniv Aronson has extended the current snow emergency declaration until Monday, February 23, at 7 p.m. based on the risk of hazard and danger to the health, safety, and welfare of those present within the Borough due to weather conditions.
Under this extension, the following acts shall continue to be unlawful and shall be punishable as provided under law:
- To park a motor vehicle or to allow that vehicle to remain parked anywhere on any snow emergency route designated in section 15-903 (Snow Emergency Routes Designated) of the Borough's Code of Ordinances; or
- To drive any motor vehicle on any such snow emergency route, unless that vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains.
The snow emergency routes are:
Fayette Street
Both sides from the Conshohocken Borough line to the Matsonford Bridge
East 1st Avenue – North Side
From Harry Street to Fayette Street
West 1st Avenue – North Side
From Fayette Street to Forrest Street
Freedly Street – East Side
12th Avenue to the alley north of 11th Avenue
Poplar Street
Elm Street to Washington Street
Declaration 2026-02 Snow Emergency Extension
In addition to the snow emergency:
Borough Hall and Community Center at the Fel
Borough Hall and The Community Center at the Fellowship House will be closed on Monday, February 23.
In case of an emergency, residents are instructed to dial 9-1-1. Any resident requiring assistance pertaining to a non-life-threatening issue should call the Borough Administrative Office at 610-828-1092 and leave a message. Phone calls will be returned in a timely manner.
Residents can use the Borough’s name directory if they need to reach a specific individual throughout the day.
All programs and rentals scheduled at the Community Center at the Fel have been canceled or postponed.
Trash and Recycling Pickup Schedule
The trash and recycling schedule for the week of February 22 will be altered, as roadway and sidewalk safety will be the priority for the Public Services Department.
- Trash and recycling pickup for the East Side of the Borough will be Wednesday, February 25.
- Trash and recycling pickup for the West Side of the Borough will be Thursday, February 26.
- There will be no bulk trash or metal pickup on Wednesday, February 25.
Zoning Hearing Board Meeting
The Zoning Hearing Board meeting scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. has been cancelled. The scheduled applications will be rescheduled to be heard at the March 16, 2026, Zoning Hearing Board meeting.
